This test is for adults aged 18 or older who live in Ireland. Join by 30 November 2026 and the two-minute fictional prototype opens immediately. We will email the same link and may send one separate availability message later. No newsletter. No drip campaign.
How test access and feedback use your data
Who is responsible: Brendan Flynn, for Through, is the data controller. Contact aodh.mini@gmail.com.
What and why: We store your lower-cased email, your adult-and-Ireland confirmation, your consent, the notice version, campaign ID, sign-up time, deletion date, and whether and when the access email was sent. The purposes are to send the fictional prototype link now and, at most, one separate email if Through becomes available. The legal basis for those contacts is your consent. Joining is voluntary and does not admit you to research or a beta.
Optional prototype feedback: At the end of the fictional walkthrough, an adult in Ireland may separately consent to send four fixed-choice product answers. We store those answers with the confirmation, consent, feedback-notice version, campaign ID, submission time, and deletion date. We do not attach an email, signup identifier, IP address, browser identifier, prototype choice, goal, reflection, or open-text story. The purpose is to learn whether this public concept is clear, how its tone lands, whether an adult might try it, and what should change first. This optional processing is based on that separate consent and is not research participation, beta admission, or evidence about teenagers.
Service providers: Vercel hosts the page and function, Supabase stores the list in its Ireland region, and Resend sends the access and possible availability emails. Hosting and security systems may briefly process network and request metadata to deliver and protect the service. Through does not use it for analytics or profiling. Some providers may process data outside the EEA using contractual safeguards such as the European Commission’s standard clauses.
How long: Raw waitlist contacts and optional feedback rows will be deleted by 30 December 2026. Service-provider security or backup copies may then age out on their own restricted operational schedules; they are not used to contact you. Daily emails to the owner contain signup and feedback counts only, not addresses or individual answers.
Your choices: You can withdraw consent or ask to access, correct, erase, restrict, object to, or receive your data by emailing the address above. Withdrawal does not make earlier lawful processing unlawful. Because feedback has no contact or signup identifier, an individual feedback row cannot later be matched back to you. You may complain to the Irish Data Protection Commission. There is no automated decision-making, advertising, tracking script, cookie, or browser storage on this page.
If we learn that a submitted address belongs to someone under
18 or outside Ireland, we will remove it. This notice is version
